More About the Breed
The Namibian Wild Horse is a rare breed that dwells in the Namib desert in Namibia, Africa. The origin of the Namibian Wild Horse is still unclear.
They could be descendants of Dutch horses brought to Cape Good Hope around the 17th Century, or be from German descent thanks to horses bought to Africa during the 19th and early 20th century.
They are capable of enduring the harsh desert condition they live in and travel on very long distances to feed and find water.
