Ouranos
Ouranos is a divine horse. He has a female counterpart, Gaia.
He is the sire of all foundation horses - the first horse a player has when they start out in the game.
There used to be one Ouranos on Howrse, owned by Ow, the site's creator. Now, Ouranos is the sire of the twin foals new players get as part of the tutorial. He belongs to Emma.
He no longer uses his old artwork - instead, he has the breed and coat that the player selected when creating their account. When looking at a horse's family tree, only his name is displayed. It cannot be clicked on and he does not have a profile page.
Real-World Inspiration[]
In Greek mythology, Ouranos was created by, and was the husband of, Gaia, the mother of the universe.
